Winrock International’s Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program is seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join us for life-changing volunteer assignments in Sierra Leone in 2025. Your expertise can empower local communities, improve livelihoods, and foster sustainable agricultural practices.

Upcoming Opportunities

1. Training in Local Products Processing

  • Focus: Empowering individuals, including those with disabilities, with skills in fruit and vegetable preservation and market opportunities.
  • Qualifications: Degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field, and experience in low-cost processing in West Africa.

2. Cassava Processing and Value Addition

  • Focus: Training in cassava-based products and sustainable preservation methods to enhance food security and income generation.
  • Qualifications: Expertise in cassava and vegetable processing, with experience in training diverse audiences.

3. Composting and Organic Farming Techniques

  • Focus: Equipping farmers with skills to produce organic fruits while reducing costs and increasing yields.

  • Qualifications: Experience in agronomy, horticulture, or tropical agriculture, with a practical approach to advisory services
