Expressions of interest are welcome for a Water Supply and Leak Detection Engineer for a prospective project in Tonga. SKM will be working in conjuction with a partner firm who will be leading the project proposal.

The position requires 9 person months intermittent inputs. He/she will report to the Team Leader and will be responsible for day to day management of the water supply leakage reduction components of the project. He/she will also assist in the design and implementation of the project’s water supply components.

Requirements:

  • A qualified civil engineer with an engineering or water supply related degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant international development experience in urban water supply operations.
  • Minimum 5 years in planning, designing, and implementing leakage programs for urban water supply networks.
  • Have project experience in the Pacific Islands preferably in Tonga or its surrounding islands.
