Position: Water Supply Specialist
Background and Qualifications:
SHELADIA Associates is a multi-disciplinary international professional consulting firm with demonstrated experience in the successful management and implementation of development projects throughout the world. We expanding our portfolio of projects in potable water supply and are seeking experience candidates in design of water supply source, treatment and distribution and including existence. We are actively seeking for candidates with overseas experience in Africa and Asia. For one Africa project in hand we need USA citizen or green card holders only. Other projects we open to all nationalities.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of Master’s degree with 10 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years of experience in Civil/Water Engineering or other relevant degree
• Experience in developing countries is required 8 years minimum
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in implementation of water supply projects in development countries
• Prefer experience in Village and or urban settings
• US citizen or Green Card holder necessary for project in Africa
• Fluent in English; excellent written/verbal communication skills required
• Demonstrated experience in planning, design and/or construction supervision of water supply, water treatment, distribution and metering.
• Experience with design and execution of environmental impact assessment for water supply projects helpful
• Experience with iterative and participatory planning methodology for community-based water supply projects
• Experience with design of water supply facilities in urban or rural towns and facilitate supervision of construction works
Candidates must be able to travel abroad.
