Project Summary:
Governance Integration for Stabilization and Resilience in the Middle East and North Africa (GISR MENA) is a $95 million multi-faceted single-award field support mechanism under GSA’s OASIS IDIQ available for MENA Bureau Operating Units (OUs) to buy-in for activities through August 2020 – and for an additional three-year period with single option years. GISR MENA is designed to offer the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) operating units (OUs) i.e., country offices and bilateral missions the opportunity to understand and address the shocks and stressors in post-conflict and fragile settings in the MENA region.
GISR MENA’s core funding will be utilized to build on initiatives carried out by USAID’s YP2LE mechanism and related platforms and tailor them to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) context. The purpose is twofold: 1) to manage content in Arabic and lead a MENA group of youth on YouthLead.org and 2) to create a Youth Community of Practice (COP) on YouthPower.org for the MENA region that will advance cross learning and collaboration on Positive Youth Development (PYD) in the region.
Launched in 2018 under the USAID-funded project YouthPower Learning, YouthLead.org is designed for young changemakers making a positive impact in their community through service, activism, advocacy, education, and entrepreneurship. The network members are focused on finding solutions by connecting people, ideas, and resources to tackle critical issues affecting young people at home and around the world.

Position Summary:
The Youth Community of Practice (COP) Co-Champion will engage with the COP web-based platform, engage in social media outreach, host webinars, and facilitate discussion and participation from the COP members. The Youth COP Co-Champion will work with the Senior COP Co-Champion in overall management of the COP web-based platform.
The anticipated timeline for the assignment is November 2020 – August 2021.
Responsibilities:
Manage web-based platform groups
Manage social media groups such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp
Develop and implement social media, digital communication strategy, and writing for the web.
Coordinate the flow of discussions and management of meetings and events, fostering participation, and promoting discussion topics
Using Google Docs and other online collaboration tools
Prepare for and host webinars across different platforms
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of four years of relevant experience required
Prior web content writing experience preferred
Prior experience relevant with youth development and leadership in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks in a virtual environment
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability and interest in learning and using a variety of communication-focused technologies website content management systems such as Drupal
Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and/or database software
Ability to use Facebook Insights and Google Analytics
English and Arabic fluency are required, French is beneficial but not required.

ملخص المنصب:
سيقوم المشارك في العمل في مجتمع ألممارسة ألشبابية بالمشاركة في المنصة المصممة والمستندة على شبكة الإنترنت من خلال المساهمه بالتواصل عن طريق وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وينظم و يستضيف ندوات على شبكة الإنترنت ويدير جلسات مناقشة مشتركة بين أعضاء مجتمع الممارسة الشبابية. كما وسيعمل مع المشارك في العمل الاقدم في الادارة العامة للمنصة .
الجدول الزمني المتوقع للتعيين هو تشرين الثاني (نوفمبر) 2020 - أغسطس 2021.
المسؤوليات:
إدارة مجموعة عبر منصة مصممة ومستندة على شبكة الانترنت
إدارة مجموعات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي مثل فيسبوك وتويتر وانستغرام وواتساب
تطوير وتنفيذ وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي واستراتيجية الاتصال الرقمي والكتابة للويب.
الإلمام ببرامج معالجة النصوص وجداول البيانات و/أو قواعد البيانات
تنسيق المناقشات وأداره الاجتماعات والمناسبات وتشجيع المشاركة وطرح المواضيع للمناقشات
استخدام مستندات Google والادوات الأخرى عبر الإنترنت
أعداد الندوات عبر الانترنت من خلال استخدام منصات متعددة
المؤهلات المطلوبة:
يشترط أن يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على شهادة البكالوريوس ويفضل الحاصلون على شهادة الماجستير في نفس المجال
يشترط توفر خبرة أربعة سنوات في مجال له صله بالعمل
يفضل من لهم خبرة تتعلق بتطوير الشباب والقيادة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.

القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وتعاوني على المهام المسندة في بيئة افتراضية (العمل عن بعد)
