An idea for everyone on your list.

The holiday season provides people time off work, but it also introduces the painstaking task of gift giving amid the rush to complete the year’s goals.

And with aid workers, some might argue the act of gift giving requires extra diligence. An environmentalist friend, for example, may despise items made without regard for Mother Nature, while a family member passionate about fair trade might groan over a present lacking certification.

But just as one considers a person’s interests and lifestyle in choosing a present, aid workers’ preference comes in all shapes and sizes, and some of them can just be as fashion or tech-savvy as the rest of us.

Devex scoured the Internet and asked our members what they think would make an interesting gift for that aid worker friend, colleague or loved one this coming holiday season. In the absence of world peace, here’s what we came up with.
