Want to build more trust in partnerships? Do independent evaluations

How do we get beyond just talking about partnerships and delve deeper into what they can accomplish? A #HealthyMeans video interview with Derek Yach, executive director of the Vitality Institute for Health Promotion.

Want to build more trust in partnerships? Commission independent evaluations.

Partnerships have become a permanent fixture within the global development conversation. But do they live up to their hype and truly drive change in poor communities around the world?

That’s a question Devex Impact Editor Adva Saldinger asked Derek Yach, executive director of the Vitality Institute for Health Promotion, in September on the sidelines of the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York.

Click the above video to find out why Yach believes independent review is essential to creating trust and realizing the full potential of partnerships, and let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
