The Asian Development Bank has provided some USD8 billion in 52 loans to India since 1986, The Economic Times reports. External assistance has been helpful in leveraging knowledge transfer and international good practices, Finance Minister Pranab Mukgherjee said during the ADB annual meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
