The Asian Development Bank and the Australian Agency for International Development disbursed USD3.75 million to improve Samoa’s power sector. “As Samoa adopts the reforms, the Australian grant will be used to buy down part of the Samoan project debt,” the ADB disclosed. “The funds will be invested by ADB until reform objectives have been achieved in Samoa, after which the loan buy down will be triggered,” the financial lender added.
