The Asian Development Bank will release the second tranche of its USD800 million loan for the construction of four hydropower generating plants in India’s Himachal Pradesh state. The second installment, worth USD59.1 million, will help build hydropower plants in Sawara-Kuddu, Kashang, Shongtong-Karchham and Sainj. The projects are expected to be completed by early 2015, according to The Economic Times.
