The Asian Development Bank has approved a
to improve airports and strengthen aviation safety in Papua New Guinea. The loan will be used to rehabilitate existing airport infrastructure, build the capacity of the local aviation authority, and draft performance-based maintenance contracts in the Pacific country's 21 national airports.
