The Asian Development Bank and Cambodian government were due to sign March 2 a new loan deal worth USD42 million for the repair of the country’s rail network, The Phnom Penh Post reports. The sum represents the second half of ADB’s USD84 million pledge to support the USD141 million project, which aims to link Cambodia and Thailand via rail by 2013.
