India further solified its stature as one of the world’s leading wind power producers, with its plans to build two new facilities in the Gujarat and Karnataka states. The project has the backing of the Asian Development Bank, as evidenced by its announcement to extend USD113 million in loans to it. The bank is actively promoting the development of clean energy sources with the help of the country’s private sector.
