    New AfDB president inherits a bigger bank — and tougher challenges

    The African Development Bank is lending USD14.73 million to help Chad improve the management of its natural resources.

    The loan will support the construction of a dam in Bongor, among others. The funding is aligned with AfDB’s country strategy for Chad, which targets rural infrastructure for water management in farm production.
