The World Bank has approved a USD 15 million loan to help Albania improve its education system as a means of boosting the country’s competitiveness and economic growth. It is part of a USD 75 million project to be funded by the European Investment Bank and the Council of Europe Investment Bank, each providing USD 15 million, and Tirana, which is contributing USD 30 million.
