World Bank regional VP for Latin America, Pamela Cox, during her three-day visit to Argentina met with, Argentinean Minister of the Economy, Felisa Miceli, and will meet with several government representatives to discuss the situation of the country. Speaking to the press, Cox remarked that “30 percent of the Argentinean population live under the poverty line, which is a very high rate for a middle income country” and highlighted the bottlenecks in infrastructure as a pending issue for the Argentinean government to resolve.
