    Hector Timerman has replaced Jorge Taiana as Argentina’s foreign minister. Taiana resigned June 18 due to “lack of support and differences” with Argentinian President Cristina Fernandez, according to a statement by the ministry. Timerman is a former journalist and has served as Argentina’s ambassador to Washington.
