Australia Enters New Agreement With UNAIDS

is contributing 25 million Australian dollars (USD21.7 million) to UNAIDS, said Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Stephen Smith. The donation will increase Australia's contributions to the United Nations agency by 50 percent. It will be drawn from the country's 200 million Australian dollars pledged to help the U.N. achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
