Australia Provides Food Aid to Philippines

Australia has pledged to provide

(USD1.74 million) in food assistance to Typhoon Ketsana victims in the Philippines. The aid package will be disbursed through the World Food Program. It adds to the initial 1 million dollars released by Australia to help provide immediate emergency services to the Philippines.
