Deb Elam is president of the GE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of General Electric, as well as the company's chief diversity officer. With a solid background in human resources, Elam joined the corporation in 1987 and now leads GE's efforts to support international education, global health, the environment, good governance, human rights, disaster relief and community engagement around the world.
