Chhavi Sharma is international program manager at Ashden, a charity that rewards, supports and promotes sustainable energy leaders in the U.K. and developing and emerging economies. Since the Ashden Awards were founded in 2001, Ashden has rewarded more than 190 enterprises in the U.K. and around the world which so far have collectively improved the lives of 47 million people, saving more than 9 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.
