Shannon Kowalski oversees the International Women's Health Coalition’s work on international and U.S. foreign policy advocacy. She is an experienced and effective advocate for sexual and reproductive rights and health, is very familiar with U.N. negotiations, and is an expert on HIV and AIDS, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, and programs to advance youth sexual and reproductive health. Prior to IWHC, Shannon was director of the Global Health Financing Initiative of the Open Society Foundations.
