George Kronnisanyon Werner serves as Liberia’s minister of education. Drawing from his experience as an educator — having taught at the high school level in five countries including the United States — Werner has dedicated his tenure as minister of education to addressing the twin challenges of expanding access to education and improving the quality of teaching.
