Gry Tina Tinde from Norway is gender and diversity coordinator with an international organization. She has served in two U.N. peacekeeping operations and her background covers protection from sexual and gender-based violence, Code of Conduct issues, refugee women’s livelihoods and fundraising, as well as election monitoring, social media campaigning, university lecturing and being UNHCR spokesperson.
Female election observers are regularly subjected to sexual harassment and assault on the job. The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe needs to fix its broken system, says Gry Tina Tinde.
