Marlene Attzs is a lecturer in economics at The University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. She has more than 20 years’ experience as an economist focusing primarily on the economics of sustainable development and has worked as a consultant for the Caribbean Development Bank and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency. She currently serves as a civil society advisory governor on the Commonwealth Foundation's board.
