Gregory Chen

Gregory Chen leads the policy team at Consultative Group to Assist the Poor, which helps policymakers adapt to the fast-changing world of digital finance. CGAP develops and executes a strategy to engage multiple countries, regions, and global bodies. Chen has 25 years of financial inclusion experience and deep regional experience in South Asia. His work has focused on hands-on start-up pioneer microfinance institutions, digital finance players, and FinTech. Chen has lived in Bangladesh for a total of 13 years and serves as a board member of BRAC — one of Bangladesh’s oldest and largest NGOs.
