Nirmal Kumar Ganguly is an honorary senior research professor at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences and chairman of the Immunology Foundation of India. He is also the former director general of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Ganguly is a former member of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization of India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the National Vaccine Policy was drafted under his leadership.
