Katja Silva-Leander is the director of development finance and investment at DAI and focuses on mobilizing private capital into low- and middle-income countries to overcome the funding gap and achieve the SDGs by 2030. She has 20 years of experience working in investment banking, as well as for a range of donors, including the FCDO, the U.N. and the World Bank. Previously, she headed up DAI’s economic growth practice in the U.K., where she oversaw a portfolio of work focusing on entrepreneurship, business environment reform and financial inclusion.
