Fred Carver is a freelance strategic consultant and researcher in the field of international relations with specific expertise in the United Nations, peacekeeping, atrocity prevention, civil wars, and political violence. He previously worked as head of policy for the United Nations Association – UK, implementing campaigns on U.N. reform, sexual violence prevention, and U.K. foreign policy. Before that, he ran the Sri Lanka Campaign for Peace and Justice, a human rights NGO advocating lasting peace in Sri Lanka.
