Ambassador Serge Mombouli

The son of a Congolese diplomat and statesman, Serge Mombouli was appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Congo to the United States of America in 2001. An expert in corporate law and business negotiations, he previously served as Congo’s chargé d’ affaires to the U.S. after a career in the private sector. He has been the dean of the African Diplomatic Corps since 2015.
