Nele Marien serves as forest and biodiversity coordinator for Friends of the Earth International, leading grassroots efforts for biodiversity action. She has been involved at the UN Convention on Biodiversity since 2013. Nele sits on the board for the CBD Alliance, which represents civil society groups, coordinating policy positions for the Global Biodiversity Framework.
