He has worked in leadership roles with the Norwegian Refugee Council, American Red Cross, IFRC, Mercy Corps, Save the Children, and International Rescue Committee across four continents over the past two decades. He began his career as a peace corps volunteer and is a big believer in the power of barbecue to unite people.
