Haven Ley is the chief strategy officer of Pivotal Ventures, leading the programmatic and investment strategy in support of the company's vision to expand women’s power and influence around the world. Prior to Pivotal Ventures, she was senior advisor to the co-chair at the Gates Foundation, expanding her role from senior program officer, where she managed gender-responsive grantmaking in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Haven's career managing social impact programs spans over 20 years, including her early work with Millennium Challenge Corporation and USAID-funded programs in low- and middle-income countries.
