Shani Winterstein is the director for capacity strengthening and training at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator, or GHAI. She works across the GHAI portfolio and on tobacco control in Africa in collaboration with our local partners to assess their needs and strengths; develop advocacy capacity strengthening plans, training, and skills enhancement activities; conceptualize strategic advocacy campaign plans; and monitor progress. Shani has over 20 years of experience in the international development sector focused heavily on issues of community engagement, public participation, and governance.
