Priscila Torres is a journalist and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Assistance from the University of Brasília and the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She also has a post-graduate degree in health education from the University of Salta. She is part of Brazil’s National Health Council and is president of the Pan-American Network of Rheumatic Patient Groups. She’s also the vice president of the Grupo de Apoio ao Paciente Reumático-Brasil, and founder and coordinator of Biored Brasil. She represents the National Health Committee in Brazil’s health system committee, Conitec, contributing with the creation of public health policies and the amplification of access to health technologies in Brazil.
