At Devex, I am responsible for expanding Devex membership and other services around the world. I work closely with donor agencies, NGOs and companies to ensure Devex is effectively aiding in their own international development missions. Prior to helping start Devex, I was with International Business-Government Counsellors (IBC), where I was Deputy Director of the Washington International Business Council.

Alastair Reed

Alastair Reed

Dr. Alastair Reed is acting director of ICCT. Prior to this he was research coordinator and a research fellow at ICCT, joining ICCT and Leiden University’s Institute of Security and Global Affairs in 2014. Previously, he was an assistant professor at Utrecht University. Reed’s main areas of interest are terrorism and insurgency, conflict analysis, conflict resolution, military and political strategy, and international relations, in particular with a regional focus on South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Al-Bari B. Macalawan earned his master's degree in political economy from the University of Asia and the Pacific. As a member AFS Intercultural Programs and Young Moro Professionals Network, he is active in youth advocacy and programs. He was part of the LEAD ASEAN Summit 2013 in Manila, the ASEAN Youth Forum 2014 in Yangon, Myanmar, and the YSEALI United For Peace 2015.

Alberto Bouroncle is vice president of public affairs at IARD and is in charge of the development of relationships and alliances with a variety of stakeholders and capacity building, with special interest in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has been involved in substance use research, policy development, and program implementation since 2000. Prior to joining IARD, he worked for LTG Associates, in a variety of projects, including the evaluation of a substance abuse and mental health services administration project to provide substance abuse treatment for the latino community in the Washington D.C. area.
