Deb Derrick is the former president of Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, an advocacy organization dedicated to sustaining and expanding U.S. support for the Global Fund. Derrick serves on the board of the NGO alliance InterAction, and previously served as a senior program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and as executive director of the United Nations Foundation’s Better World Campaign.

Deb Elam is president of the GE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of General Electric, as well as the company's chief diversity officer. With a solid background in human resources, Elam joined the corporation in 1987 and now leads GE's efforts to support international education, global health, the environment, good governance, human rights, disaster relief and community engagement around the world.

Debi Boeras, chief executive officer at the Global Health Impact Group, is a virologist and molecular biologist with almost 20 years experience in global health and laboratory medicine. Debi’s work has focused on bringing new diagnostics and testing strategies to low- and middle-income countries with an emphasis on quality assurance and strengthening health systems and laboratory networks.

Debora B. Freitas López, a director in the Southern Africa region at Chemonics with almost 15 years of experience in international development, is responsible for the USAID-funded Mozambique Coastal City Adaptation Project (CCAP) and a member of the health technical practice. She is a health and social and behavior change (SBC) expert with in-depth experience in the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of multi-level initiatives, particularly in SBC.

Debora Revoltella is director of the economics department at the European Investment Bank. She is in charge of the sovereign and financial sector rating models for the EIB, providing financial sector expertise in EIB projects, and assessing the impact of EIB activities. She is a member of the Steering Committees of the Vienna Initiative and CompNet, an alternate member of the Board of the Joint Vienna Institute, and a member of the Boards of the SUERF and the Euro 50 Group.

Deborah Atherly, PhD, BSPharm, is global head of policy, access, and introduction for PATH’s center for vaccine innovation and access. She directs activities in vaccine access and introduction, which focus on developing and advancing technologies and interventions that help move research achievements in immunization into routine use in the field. She provides strategic leadership and technical guidance for vaccine projects and studies.

Dr. Deborah L. Birx is a senior fellow at the George W. Bush Institute. She previously served as White House coronavirus coordinator and as the U.S. global AIDS coordinator, where she oversaw the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR.

Deborah K. Holmes is Americas director for corporate responsibility at the international consultancy firm EY, formerly Ernst & Young. Between 1996 and 2004, this published author and frequent public speaker led the company's award-winning gender equity work.

Deborah Horan is an award-winning journalist who has written about international development issues for the World Bank's Human Development Network and for the International Finance Corp.'s Sustainable Business Advisory about health, HIV/AIDS, early childhood development, education and the promotion of small business through business management training. Deb has covered the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Iraq war, among other international assignments.
