Deb Derrick is the former president of Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, an advocacy organization dedicated to sustaining and expanding U.S. support for the Global Fund. Derrick serves on the board of the NGO alliance InterAction, and previously served as a senior program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and as executive director of the United Nations Foundation’s Better World Campaign.

She is a health and social and behavior change (SBC) expert with in-depth experience in the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of multi-level initiatives, particularly in SBC.

She is in charge of the sovereign and financial sector rating models for the EIB, providing financial sector expertise in EIB projects, and assessing the impact of EIB activities. She is a member of the Steering Committees of the Vienna Initiative and CompNet, an alternate member of the Board of the Joint Vienna Institute, and a member of the Boards of the SUERF and the Euro 50 Group.
