Derek Yach has focused his career on advancing global health. He is the chief health officer of Vitality and leads the Vitality Institute. Previously, Dr. Yach was SVP of global health and agriculture policy at PepsiCo, headed global health at the Rockefeller Foundation, was a professor of global health at Yale University, and is a former executive director for noncommunicable diseases and mental health at the World Health Organization.

Dermott McDonald leads the funding advisory team at MzN International. He focuses on fundraising and strategic advisory for development and humanitarian aid organizations, helping them make sense of the complex institutional funding environment and advising them how to secure institutional funding. Prior to joining MzN, Dermott has worked in senior roles for a number of prestigious INGOs leading teams focused on large institutional grant acquisition and management, as well as supporting INGO strategy and programme development in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Derya Deniz is an independent international relations analyst who has worked with several Turkish NGOs and international organizations, including as a research officer for the Permanent Observer Mission of the OIC to the United Nations. She holds a bachelor's degree in political sciences and international relations, and speaks Turkish, English and Arabic.

Desmond Tanko Jumbam is a Cameroonian health policy analyst with the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School and project coordinator in the Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dessislava Dimitrova is the lead for Health Systems and Healthcare Joint Ventures at the World Economic Forum, and served as deputy minister of health in Bulgaria.

Devang Vussonji is a partner at Dalberg Advisors, a firm focused on promoting inclusive and sustainable growth in the world. He is the founder of Dalberg’s Tanzania office and he leads Dalberg’s education to employment practice. He advises governments and donors on youth unemployment issues, in both developing and developed countries. Of late, he has been focused on how countries can create jobs by attracting private sector investments, industrializing their economies, and promoting more inclusive growth.
