Donika Dimovska leads the Center for Health Market Innovations and Center for Education Innovations at Results for Development (R4D). Through these and other projects, she develops new tools and modalities for engaging practitioners, funders, researchers and policymakers working to improve how health and education systems serve the poor in low- and middle-income countries.

Donna Bowater is a senior associate at Marchmont Communications, an agency specialising in communicating around global development. She was previously a journalist, most recently covering Brazil and Latin America for English-language media.

Donna McCarraher

Donna McCarraher has 20 years of experience in conducting and managing operational and behavioral research in numerous countries. She is currently the director of reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health at FHI 360. Donna has expertise in content areas that include post-abortion care, adolescent health, gender, gender-based violence, and integration of contraception into HIV services, health services research, and assessment of HIV risk among the vulnerable.

As former development analyst with Devex, Dorcas studied bilateral and multilateral donors’ partnership strategies, monitored pipeline opportunities and trends from donor agencies such as ADB, DAFTD Canada, and NADB. Prior to joining Devex, Dorcas worked as a researcher at government institutions.

She has over 15 years of experience working for humanitarian and development organizations on infectious disease prevention and control. She holds a master’s in public health from Boston University’s School of Public Health and doctorate from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Douglas Ragan has worked in youth development with NGOs, local and national governments and the United Nations at the local, national and international level for the past 25 years. Currently he is the Chief of Youth and Livelihoods Unit for UN-Habitat, managing UN-Habitat's Global portfolio on youth development in over 70 developing countries. The programmes focus on urban youth development, including youth employment, governance and participation. He manages three flagship youth programmes for UN-Habitat: the Urban Youth Fund, the Youth 21 initiative and the One Stop Youth Resource Centres.
