Dr. Moumouni Kinda is ALIMA’s chief executive officer. He joined ALIMA in 2012 as medical coordinator and then was promoted to roles such as head of mission, medical desk supervisor, program manager and director of operations. Prior to ALIMA, he was part of several medical operations in Haiti, Chad, and the Democratic Republic of Congo for Médecins Sans Frontières.

Dr. Muyi Aina is a public health professional and management consultant with over 25 years of experience in health care and executive management. He currently serves as the executive secretary and CEO of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, or NPHCDA, in Nigeria. Muyi received his medical degree from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He holds an MPH in international health from Harvard University and a doctorate in infectious disease epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He also earned a certificate in vaccine science and policy from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Naser Almhawish is a displaced general surgeon from Syria and a health surveillance coordinator for the Assistance Coordination Unit based in Gaziantep, Turkey.

Dr. Navdeep Tangri is a practicing physician in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine and Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Canada. He serves as chair of the Medical Advisory Council of the Global Patient Alliance for Kidney Health.

Dr. Naveen Rao is the senior vice president of the health initiative at The Rockefeller Foundation where he leads the foundation’s efforts to shape the field of climate and health. Dr. Rao previously led the foundation’s COVID-19 pandemic efforts. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Naveen Thacker is a pediatrician, the current president of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Association, and chair of the Strategic Advisory Group on Immunization of the International Pediatric Association.

Dr. Nicholas Okumu is an orthopedic surgeon heading the orthopedic oncology unit at the Kenyatta National Hospital and formerly the head of the department of orthopedics at the same institution. He is the CEO of Stratus Medical Imaging Solutions, a private health care provider in Nairobi. He is a 2024 Global Surgery Advocacy fellow.

Dr. Nora Abdullah is a psychiatry resident in Dallas. She’s a volunteer with the humanitarian NGO MedGlobal.

Dr. Norhan Bader is a co-founder and vice chair of Women in Global Health, Egypt chapter, promoting women leaders in global health. Norhan is a physician by training who graduated from Cairo University with extensive experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights, or SRHR, for more than 10 years. She is the SRHR program manager at the Center for Development Services.

Dr. Othoman Mellouk is the intellectual property and access to medicines/diagnostics lead at the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition. Othoman previously worked at Association de Lutte Contre le Sida in Morocco, where he participated in the development of the first prevention program targeting men having sex with men in the Middle East and North Africa. He is one of the most active advocates for access to treatment in the MENA region with a particular focus on the question of intellectual property rights and their effect on access to treatment. He has also served at WHO’s Strategic and Technical Advisory Committee on HIV.
