Edridah Muheki Tukahebwa

Edridah Muheki Tukahebwa is the assistant commissioner of health services for vector control tropical diseases and the national coordinator of the NTD control program for the Uganda Ministry of Health. She coordinates a successful integrated program that is supported by more than six partners. Under her leadership, NTDs have attracted political attention.

Eduardo Pisani

Eduardo Pisani became director general of the IFPMA in January 2010. An industry leader with over two decades of international pharmaceutical experience in companies like Bristol-Myers Squibb, Baxter, SmithKline Beecham, Immuno, he has seen health policy and patient access discussions evolve from a close vantage point, and is convinced that platforms for constructive policy discussion are essential to effective policymaking.

Eduardo Sojo Garza-Aldape is president of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico, and member of the UN Secretary-General's Independent Expert Advisory Group on the Data Revolution for Sustainable Development. Previously he was head of the Office of the President of Mexico for Public Policy and Coordinator of the Economic Cabinet, Minister of Economy and research analyst at the University of Pennsylvania Link Project.

Eduardo P. Banzon

Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon is a principal health specialist in the sustainable development and climate change department of the Asian Development Bank. Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, World Health Organization regional adviser for health financing in the Eastern Mediterranean region, World Bank senior health specialist, and a faculty member of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business.

Edward Bitarakwate

Dr. Edward Bitarakwate is the country director of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in Uganda. Previous to his position leading the foundation’s efforts in Uganda, he acted as the country program’s technical director, coordinating prevention of mother-to-child transmission services and HIV care and treatment expansion efforts since 2004.

Edward Hoyt is a senior energy, climate change, and development professional with wide experience consulting for the government, multilateral, and private sector institutions in more than 50 countries. Prior to joining Chemonics, Hoyt served as transaction advisor for USAID Power Africa in Ghana, helping the national utility and government define the country’s need for new generation capacity. Under the USAID Africa Infrastructure Program, Hoyt supported the government of Mozambique on a competitive bid for a wind project, the first ever competitive procurement for a power project in the country.

Edward Karapen is MSI Papua New Guinea’s sexual and gender-based violence and inclusion mentor. He designs, supports, and strengthens sexual and gender-based violence interventions in sexual and reproductive healthcare services. Prior to MSI, Edward worked in gender at Care International and the Fresh Produce Development Agency. He lives in Port Moresby with his wife and four children.
