Elias Meseret is an Associated Press reporter based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He also writes for the German news agency DPA, hosts a radio program that is dedicated to social media and fact-checking, and regularly appears on both local and international TV and radio stations for commentary on a range of topics touching on Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.

Elias Sagmeister is a programme manager at Ground Truth Solutions. He designs and implements projects to increase accountability to affected people with a range of humanitarian agencies in Afghanistan and other countries affected by crisis. Before joining Ground Truth, Elias was a project manager at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he is a nonresident fellow. Past projects have included collaborations with the ICRC, IRC, UNHCR, ECHO, DFID, and other aid agencies.

Currently the director of the Peace, Stability, and Transition practice, Elisabeth Dallas is a conflict prevention and resolution expert with over 15 years of experience designing and implementing programs that successfully mitigate conflict and support state-of-the art peacebuilding. Prior to joining Chemonics, Dallas served as a senior conflict and peacebuilding advisor in USAID's Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation. She has also served as a chief of party for the Public International Law & Policy Group and worked in more than 15 countries throughout South Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Her expertise is applying conflict sensitive approaches to development, violence prevention, mediation, and negotiation.

Elisabeth Rhyne is founder and managing director of the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion, a research and action think tank. The CFI works to to protect and empower clients and to challenge and engage the financial inclusion industry. Beth co-founded the Smart Campaign, which has helped embed client protection principles throughout the microfinance industry and is now penetrating the broader financial inclusion sector. As SVP of Accion from 2000-2008 she led Accion’s entry into Africa and India, and during the 1990s she led the Microenterprise Initiative at the U.S. Agency for International Development.
