Erin MacLeod

Erin MacLeod is monitoring and evaluation officer for the Caribbean, Central American and Andean Regions at Cuso International. In addition, she lectures at the Institute of Caribbean Studies at the University of the West. As a recipient of the 2013 Bob Ward Fellowship, MacLeod's research now focuses on the impact of diaspora volunteering on poverty reduction.

Erin McGuire is a multimedia journalist whose work has been published in The Irish Times. Erin has degrees in psychology, law and journalism. She has worked as a judicial law clerk and as associate counsel at the Board of Veterans' Appeals, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C. She lives in Dublin, Ireland.

Prior to founding Inle Advisory Group, Erin served as the special assistant for the first-ever special representative and policy coordinator for Myanmar. In that position, she participated in the most significant United States policy shift on Myanmar in decades including joining the then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on her historic trip to Myanmar in December 2011, overseeing the easing of economic sanctions, and advising and supporting the Office of the Special Representative during the unprecedented warming of U.S.- Myanmar ties. She is based in Washington, D.C.

Ertharin Cousin

Ertharin Cousin currently serves as the CEO and managing director of Food Systems for the Future, and is a distinguished fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. She is a Bosch Academy Robert Weizsäcker fellow and a visiting scholar at Stanford University’s Center on Food Security and Environment. Previously, Cousin led the World Food Programme and served as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations agencies for food and agriculture in Rome.

Erushka Pillay is country director of South Africa Project HOPE. She is a seasoned manager and leader with over 15 years of local and international nonprofit and development experience in the fields of health, community, economic and social development. Prior to joining Project HOPE, she was the chief of party, sexual HIV prevention program for the Palladium Group. She holds both a master’s degree in management and a B.A. in social work from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Esdras Tsongo is a reporter based in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. He graduated in communication science from the University of Bujumbura. His focus is on the humanitarian crisis in eastern DRC, as well as lifestyle stories about Congolese society. He is a founding member of Congo Check, the first publication focused on fact-checking information in DRC.
