She heads Esri's worldwide health and human services practice and is passionate about transforming health organizations through a geographic approach. Previously, she was the deputy director of the Center for Health Statistics and Informatics at the California Department of Public Health. She is board certified in public health and is also a geographic information system professional.

Estrella “Esther” Penunia is secretary-general of the Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development, or AFA. AFA is a regional alliance of national farmer organizations, representing around 13 million small-scale family farmers engaged in crops, livestock, fisheries, forestry, herding, and pastoralism. AFA promotes sustainable, climate-resilient, and agroecological approaches in farms, fisheries, and forests.

Dr Etienne Krug is the director of World Health Organization's Department for Management of Noncommunicable diseases, Disability, Violence and Injury Prevention since its creation in September 2014. Prior to joining WHO, Dr Krug held positions at the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and served as Country Director for Medecins Sans Frontières in several countries in Africa and Latin America. He holds a degree of Medical Doctor from the University of Louvain in Brussels, Belgium, his native country, and a Masters Degree in Public Health from Harvard University in the United States.

Eugene Zapata-Garesche

Eugene Zapata Garesche is the Rockefeller Foundation's 100 Resilient Cities program's regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean starting August 2016. He was born in Mexico City and studied international relations at the National University of Mexico, the London School of Economics and the University of Paris-Sorbonne. For over two decades he has specialized in the international relations of local governments, particularly as senior international adviser to the mayor of Mexico City, North American regional secretary of Metropolis and coordinator of the AL-LAs project.
