Gunhild Stordalen, the founder and executive chair of EAT, is a visionary leader at the forefront of transforming the global food system. Recognized for her pioneering role in linking climate, health, and sustainability, Gunhild co-established the Stordalen Foundation in 2011. A distinguished scientist, Gunhild's impactful journey has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2019 U.N. Foundation Global Leadership Award.

Gunjan Veda

Gunjan Veda is director of collaborative research, policy, and practice and executive director — designate — with the Movement for Community-Led Development, a global consortium of over 2,000 local and community-based organizations and 30+ INGO allies. Her work includes creating collaborative and mutual partnerships, interrogating structural violence in existing systems, and forms of knowledge production and publication. Prior to joining MCLD, Gunjan worked extensively on a range of development issues with the nonprofit and government sectors in India, including with the Indian government’s planning commission.

Günther Kräuter is a member of the Austrian Ombudsman Board and Secretary General of the International Ombudsman Institute. He dedicates himself to the fostering of democracy, the rule of law and the strengthening of ombudsman institutions worldwide. He obtained a doctorate in law from the University of Graz in Austria.

Gustavo De Rosa

Gustavo De Rosa is the vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer and general manager of the finance department at the Inter-American Development Bank. He is responsible for the mobilization and management of the bank’s financial resources, including treasury, financial reporting and financial planning. Prior to his role as CFO, he served as IDB chief risk officer since 2011. Before joining the bank, Mr. De Rosa was chief risk and operating officer at ING Belgium, S.A., in Madrid.

For more than 20 years, Gustavo has been working in crisis and post-crisis settings, on behalf of a range of international and U.N. organizations. He was appointed UNDP subregional development coordinator, covering Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey and Jordan in November 2013. He heads UNDP’s Sub-Regional Facility for the Development Response to the Syrian Crisis located in Amman.

Gustavo Hernandez Polanco is senior director of Heifer International Guatemala, where he strengthens rural economies through program design and implementation. With more than 30 years of experience in urban and rural development, Hernandez Polanco has led Heifer Guatemala since 2010 to support agriculture value chains in allspice, cardamom, cocoa, coffee, honey, and other commodities to improve food security and nutrition, build social capital, promote women and youth, and care for the natural environment.

Gustavo Rivera is a New York state senator and chair of the health committee. He is the lead sponsor of the New York Health Act, a bill to establish a first-in-the-nation state single payer health care system. He was born in Puerto Rico and resides in the Bronx.

Guy le Fanu

Guy le Fanu is the global technical lead for education at Sightsavers. He oversees Sightsavers’ education projects for children with disabilities in sub-Saharan Africa, India, and South Asia. After teaching in special needs and comprehensive schools in the U.K., Guy worked as an education advisor for six years in Papua New Guinea, and four years in Bangladesh for a number of international development agencies.

Guy Marks is a respiratory and public health physician and epidemiologist. He is president and interim executive director of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. His main research interests are in chronic respiratory disease, tuberculosis control, and the adverse health effects of exposure to air pollution.

Guy Platten

Guy Platten is the secretary general of the International Chamber of Shipping. He has extensive experience in the maritime industry both at sea and ashore and is a qualified master mariner. He has held a number of senior positions including chief executive of the UK Chamber of Shipping, chief executive of Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited, and director of marine operations for the Northern Lighthouse Board, which is responsible for lighthouses, buoys, beacons, and aids to navigation throughout Scotland and the Isle of Man.
