Heidi Larson

Heidi Larson is professor of anthropology, risk, and decision science and director of the Vaccine Confidence Project in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is also a clinical professor at the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington.

Heleen Broekkamp

Heleen Broekkamp is program officer and thematic coordinator of stigma reduction and mental well-being at No Leprosy Remains. She is a development economist and a student of psychology, having worked for NGOs with a focus on the rights of marginalized groups throughout her career.

Helen Castell

Helen Castell

Helen Castell is a London-based financial journalist with nearly 20 years’ experience covering trade, energy and risk for TXF, Shares Magazine, Global Trade Review, Newsbase, Trade Finance Magazine and other Euromoney publications. At Devex, she writes about development banking, private sector engagement and funding trends. She studied English Literature at Sheffield University and International Journalism at London’s City University, and speaks English, Spanish and Japanese.
Helen Clark

Helen Clark

Helen Clark was the prime minister of New Zealand for three successive terms from 1999 to 2008, after an extensive parliamentary and ministerial career. In April 2009, Clark became administrator of the United Nations Development Programme. She was the first woman to lead the organization and served two terms. In July 2020, she was appointed by the director-general of the World Health Organization as a co-chair of the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response.

Helen Dennis is senior adviser on poverty and inequality at Christian Aid, where she coordinates the organization’s sustainable development agenda and global conversation about what might replace the Millennium Development Goals in 2016. Previously, Dennis worked charities like Tearfund or YMCA England, with a focus on poverty, social exclusion and the role of faith in politics.

Helen Hamilton

Helen Hamilton is a senior policy analyst on health and hygiene at WaterAid. She has been working at WaterAid since 2017. Helen leads the organization’s policy analysis and advocacy on global health and hygiene, championing policy, programming and research innovation on comprehensive approaches to public health. Her experience includes linking WASH aspects with programs to improve maternal and newborn health, quality and safety of care, and working to strengthen health systems governance and approaches to infectious diseases and inclusion and equity.

Helen Lock is a former associate editor at Devex, responsible for commissioning, editing, and producing content on the partnerships editorial team. She has seven years of experience in journalism as a multimedia content producer for an international advocacy organization and as a reporter and section editor for U.K. national newspapers. As a freelance journalist, she covered cities, tech for good, global development, and education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Manchester and a master’s in Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.

She was previously an Associate Editor at Devex, where she managed the op-eds section and led a project covering climate resilience in small island developing states. Helen was also features editor at World Politics Review, and editor and writer at the environmental think tank WRI, as well as editing for The New Humanitarian. She lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
