Helen is an award-winning journalist and Senior Editor at Devex, where she edits coverage on global development in the Americas. Based in Colombia, she previously covered war, politics, financial markets, and general news for Reuters, where she headed the bureau, and for Bloomberg in Colombia and Argentina, where she witnessed the financial meltdown. She started her career in London as a reporter for Euromoney Publications before moving to Hong Kong to work for a daily newspaper.

Helen V. Pates Jamet is the head of market access and entomology at Vestergaard. A medical entomologist with more than 20 years of experience in malaria prevention, research and vector control product development, Helen has led the market access team for vector control products since 2012. She is responsible for defining the pathway for new products to market.

Helena Minchew

Helena supports IWHC’s U.S. foreign policy portfolio through working with a number of technical and advocacy coalitions, including as a co-chair of Girls Not Brides USA, and helps to define IWHC’s engagement with members of Congress and administration officials. Helena also contributes toward achieving IWHC’s advocacy objectives for sexual and reproductive health and rights at the international level, having represented IWHC at the U.N. in New York, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Geneva, Switzerland.

Helena Wright

Helena Wright, Ph.D., is the policy director at the FAIRR Initiative, where she focuses on policy solutions related to the risks and opportunities surrounding intensive animal agriculture. Wright’s work focuses on engaging with governments, regulators, industry bodies and investors to promote a greater understanding of the sustainability risks surrounding intensive animal agriculture and build increased engagement around sustainable policies and business practices. Her previous experience includes working as a vice president at the World Wide Fund for Nature, or WWF, working at the think tank E3G on sustainable finance, as well as working as a negotiator for the U.K. government. She holds a doctorate from Imperial College London.
Hélène Molinier

Hélène Molinier

Hélène Molinier is the senior adviser on digital cooperation and thematic lead for the GEF Action Coalition on Innovation and Technology at UN Women. She led the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women and authored key reports on digital innovation and gender equality. With over 20 years of experience across U.N. agencies and global institutions, Hélène has advanced digital tools, legal empowerment, and finance. She has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and holds a master’s in International Law and Diplomacy from Paris-Sud University. A French national, she joined UN Women in 2018.

Helga Fogstad is the executive director of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health and brings to the position a wealth of experience in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health related issues. She has 30 years of diverse experience in public health and has worked many years in developing countries at sub-national and national levels, as well as at international level within multilateral and bilateral agencies.

Hellen Malinga Apila, gender and advocacy lead at the SDGs Kenya Forum, leads a platform that brings together over 300 diverse civil society organizations, government entities, academia, media, and the private sector who work to influence multistakeholder policies and actions for the achievement of the 17 SDGs in Kenya. She has over 18 years of experience in gender and sustainable development.
H.E. Luke Daunivalu

H.E. Luke Daunivalu

Luke Daunivalu is ambassador and deputy permanent representative of Fiji to the United Nations, having been posted in April 2016. Prior to taking up this appointment, he served as deputy secretary (policy) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2014 and 2016. From 2010 to 2013, he served as counsellor/deputy permanent representative to Fiji's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.

Hema Divakar

Dr. Hema Divakar is a leading medical professional in India with a vision to improve the health care services ecosystem for the welfare of women. She was the head of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India in 2013, and now she is the FOGSI ambassador for the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, or FIGO. Currently, Divakar runs a specialty hospital in Bangalore and is a technical expert with the Institute of Public Health, a government of India initiative.
HE Marisol Touraine

HE Marisol Touraine

HE Ms. Marisol Touraine is a senior member of the Conseil d'Etat and an international consultant for social policies. She was elected as the chair of Unitaid’s executive board in June 2019 and is France's former minister of health. After studying at the Ecole Normale Supérieure for a degree in economics and social sciences, Marisol Touraine studied at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and at the prestigious Harvard University in the United States. Her support to authorize and assure financial coverage for innovative preventive HIV treatments has been particularly recognized, and her fight for neutral cigarette packaging was acknowledged with a WHO prize in 2016.
