Irina von Wiese was a U.K. member of the European Parliament and vice-chair of the Human Rights Subcommittee from May 2019 to January 2020. She also served on the Foreign Affairs, Liberty Justice and Home Affairs, and Petitions Committee and was elected member of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the European Endowment for Democracy. Her special interest is in migration and refugee issues.

Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, a national of Dominica, assumed the office of secretary-general of the Caribbean Community on August 15, 2011. He served as permanent secretary in various ministries in Dominica for more than fourteen years, including in the Ministries of Trade, Industry, Enterprise Development, Tourism, and Foreign Affairs, where he headed the diplomatic service. He also served as the principal advisor to the Government of Dominica on all matters pertaining to economic integration and regional and international trade. Ambassador LaRocque has a wealth of experience in management, public administration, economic development, trade, foreign affairs and diplomacy.

Prof. Isaac Adewole is a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology. He is currently the health minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Adewole is committed to improving Nigeria’s health indicators through a universal health coverage agenda anchored on revitalizing the primary health care system.

Isabel Mestres is the CEO of City Cancer Challenge, or C/Can, a global initiative driving innovative solutions in 15 cities to improve access to quality, equitable cancer care. C/Can unites public and private sectors to create sustainable, community-led approaches that enhance cancer care worldwide.

Isabella Mekker is a program associate at IRI, where she supports the Conflict Prevention and Stabilization and Countering Foreign Authoritarian Influence practices. She is a recent graduate of the Elliott School of International Affairs Master’s program at The George Washington University where she focused on Global Gender Policy and International Development. Mekker has field experience in Myanmar, having worked at the Myanmar Institute for Peace and Security where she focused on conflict monitoring and gender, peace, and security.

Isabella Montgomery is coordinator at the Container Based Sanitation Alliance. She has a background in communications, coordination, and project management and has worked for a broad range of international advocacy networks and coalitions in areas such as WASH, neglected tropical diseases, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Isabelle Bremaud is global resilience adviser at GOAL. She has 24 years’ experience working in the field of disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and resilience in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Her skills are in strategic planning for community-based development, disaster risk reduction, and climate change adaptation in rural and urban contexts.

Isabelle De Lichtervelde works on the policy team in The ONE Campaign's London office. In her current role, she focuses on development finance beyond 2015, and was a contributing writer of ONE's 2014 DATA Report. De Lichtervelde previously worked in the ONE Brussels office on development assistance in the EU budget, and before joining the organization was a researcher at the Brussels Institute of Contemporary China Studies and for the Europe China Research and Advice Network.

Isabelle Salabert is the executive director at AXIAN Foundation. Salabert has a doctorate in molecular physics and worked in knowledge management for 10 years before moving to Madagascar. She led a department at TELMA, initiated the TELMA Foundation, and now directs the AXIAN Foundation. Committed to health care, education, and sustainable development, she fosters partnerships and presides over the Private Sector Humanitarian Platform.

Isaiah Emmanuel Suguitan is a youth activist at Amnesty International. A junior student-leader from the University of the Philippines Diliman, he is working on his Bachelor of Science in Community Nutrition degree. Isaiah is the Deputy Regional Coordinator for Organizational Development Work for Amnesty International Philippines Cordillera Administrative Region. His work in Amnesty has been largely centered on empowering and capacitating local groups within the Cordillera on communications, logistical, and membership development. Isaiah’s main advocacies are centered on addressing health inaccessibility and inequalities, press freedom, media literacy, indigenous peoples’ rights, combating mental health stigma, and fighting for accessible quality education.
