Jacqueline Koch has an extensive background as a photojournalist and journalist. In 2000, she was awarded a Pew Fellowship in International Journalism at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, where she focused on post-Suharto Indonesia. Following the 2004 tsunami, she transferred her in-country expertise into media development and health system rehabilitation projects and continues to work as a communications consultant for global health, aid and development organizations. Based in Seattle, she is expanding her expertise in global health issues, speaks French and Bahasa Indonesia but needs to brush up on her Spanish.

Jacqueline Musiitwa is an international lawyer and founder and managing partner of the Hoja Law Group, where she advises on corporate and governance matters. She has served as adviser to the director general of the World Trade Organization on trade policy as well as to the Rwandan Justice Ministry on investment, trade and infrastructure and private sector development. She has been an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow, Mo Ibrahim Fellow, Aspen Institute New Voices Fellow and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.

Jagan Chapagain

Jagan Chapagain assumed the role of secretary general of the IFRC in February 2020 and is based in Geneva, Switzerland. He has extensive experience and a broad knowledge of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. He has spent more than 20 years with IFRC, working across Europe and Asia. Prior to becoming secretary general, he was the under secretary general for programs and operations, chief of staff and director of the Asia-Pacific region. Chapagain holds a degree in engineering and certificates in leadership and management.

Jagdeesh Puppala has served as the Foundation for Ecological Security's executive director since its inception in 2001. His core areas of interests include the conservation of forests and water, bio-regional planning and land use studies. Jagdeesh is equally interested in alternative narratives on "developmental" issues pertaining to rainfed agriculture in arid, semi-arid, dryland ecosystems as well as in decentralized governance of natural resources, commons and collective action.

Dr. Alip is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and holds a doctorate degree in Organizational Development from SAIDI in the Philippines.
