Aaron Koay

Aaron Koay is a pharmacist and a researcher at Global Health 50/50. He is also a Ph.D. student at the University College London, funded by the UCL-Birkbeck MRC DTP and UCL International Scholar Award for Doctoral Training. A believer in research as critical praxis, Aaron is interested in health governance, policy, and intersectionality.
Aaron Pedrosa

Aaron Pedrosa

Aaron Pedrosa is a public interest lawyer assisting and representing urban poor, workers, fisherfolks, Indigenous peoples, and mining and coal-affected communities in the Philippines. He represented communities affected by Asian Development Bank-funded coal plant in Cebu using ADB's accountability mechanism and is currently representing the first climate complaint involving 19 coal plants indirectly funded by the International Finance Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of the Philippines Cebu and a law degree from the School of Law and Governance, University of San Carlos — Cebu.

Aaron Williams is executive vice president of the International Development Group at RTI International. He served as Peace Corps director from 2009 to 2012, and as vice president of international business development for RTI from 2003 to 2009. Before joining RTI, Williams served as a senior official at the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Aaron Williams is senior adviser — emeritus, for international development and government relations at RTI International. Previously at RTI, he was executive vice president of the International Development Group. He served as the 18th director of the U.S. Peace Corps from 2009 to 2012 under former President Barack Obama. Before joining RTI, Williams served as a senior official at the U.S. Agency for International Development. Williams is also an adjunct professor of health policy and management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s school of global public health.

Aashti Zaidi Hai

Aashti Zaidi Hai is the founder and CEO at Global Schools Forum, a network organization working to strengthen global education through supporting nonstate organizations in low- and middle-income countries who serve children from low-income backgrounds. Prior to this, Aashti oversaw a portfolio of education investments at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. She previously worked at the U.K. Department for International Development, the World Bank, and at the American Institutes for Research.

Aba Asibon

Aba A. Asibon is a project manager with Rice University’s Institute for Global Health Technologies, also known as Rice 360˚. Rice 360˚ works in partnership with communities throughout the world to design and implement low-cost, high-performance health technologies that address major global health challenges. Aba currently manages the rollout of the organization’s Pumani bCPAP device throughout Malawi and in parts of South Africa, Zambia and Tanzania. She has also previously worked with public hospitals in New York City to bring innovative HIV testing interventions to hard-to-reach populations.

Dr. Abbas Gullet is the secretary-general of the Kenya Red Cross Society. He is also the founder and chairman of the Boma Groups of hotels in Nairobi, Eldoret and Nyeri which are fully owned by the Kenya Red Cross Society.
Abbie Lennox

Abbie Lennox

Abbie Lennox is the global head of Regulatory, Medical, Safety & Product Compliance (RMSC) for Bayer’s Consumer Health Division and is a member of the Consumer Health Executive Committee. She is responsible for end-to-end regulatory affairs and medical affairs, R&D quality, overall safety, compliance, and governance across the product portfolio. Abbie holds over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer health industry, working at GSK, 3M, and RB where she assumed R&D leadership roles of increasing responsibility driving innovation, regulatory competitive advantage, and product compliance across consumer health.

Prior to joining Oxfam, she served as deputy secretary general of CARE International in Geneva providing leadership of the Secretariat and across the CARE confederation.

Abby Young-Powell is an award-winning freelance journalist and editor based in Berlin. She covers a range of topics for publications including The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and Deutsche Welle. Before working freelance, she was deputy editor of Guardian Students, part of the U.K.'s Guardian newspaper. She is also a fellow of the International Journalists' Programme, after working at Die Tageszeitung in Germany.
