Jamillah Mwanjisi

Jamillah Mwanjisi is co-chair of End Water Poverty. Based in Nairobi, she also coordinates the Africa-focused State of the Union advocacy group. Previously, Mwanjisi served as executive secretary of the African Civil Society Network on Water and Sanitation, where she helped sign an MoU with the African Ministers Council on Water.

Jan Eliasson

Jan Eliasson is the appointed deputy secretary-general of the United Nations and was the special envoy for Darfur from 2007 to 2008. Prior to this, he served as the president of the 60th session of the U.N. General Assembly. Eliasson was Sweden’s ambassador to the U.S. and was the appointed foreign minister of Sweden.

Jan Mattsson

Jan Mattsson is a development professional with over 30 years experience in managing development programs and international organizations. Since joining UNOPS in 2006 as executive director, he has, together with colleagues, passionately pursued “operational excellence for results that matter.” This has been done with a keen eye on core values and principles, especially respect for national ownership and capacities, and transparency and accountability for results. Jan holds a doctoral degree in engineering with a multi-disciplinary thesis on management of technological change based on research in his native Sweden, India and Tanzania.

Jan Mattsson

Jan Mattsson was appointed to the World Bank Inspection Panel in 2014, bringing more than three decades of experience in the public and private sectors, as well as in academia. His career has included operational field work, policy advice, program management, and leadership roles at the United Nations. Throughout his career he has demonstrated the ability to engage and build trust with multiple stakeholders around complex issues, risk management, and innovation. He has a Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Linkoping, Sweden. His Panel term runs through 2019.

Jana Naujoks

Jana Naujoks is senior program officer of the gender and peace-building program at International Alert. Jana has been working for Alert’s peace-building program for over seven years, including in the coordination of: the Initiative for Peacebuilding, an EU-focused policy research project; the Foro Andino Para la Transformación de Conflictos Socio Ambientales, which was active in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru; and the European Group on Training for Civilian Crisis Management. Her research interests include gender and natural resource management issues in conflict-affected countries, particularly extractive industries, gender and former combatants, as well as migration issues.

Janadale Leene Coralde works as a contributing analyst for Devex. Based in Manila she reports on development donors activities and designs funding data visualisations. She has a degree in political economy, specializing in international relations and development, and has previously worked as a researcher for Chemonics, the REID foundation, and the Philippines House of Representatives.
